You know the old saying, “You are what you eat!”, well it’s true!
For most of my life, I have been involved in sports and would consider myself a relatively healthy person; however as I write this, I am heavier than I’ve ever been in my life yet I still consider myself an active person and one that eats relatively healthy! So with that, I have dug deep into the reality of our current state of affairs as it relates to our food, our environment, the affects of stress, and the overall impact to our body and minds if not fully understood.
Through the Food and Health section of I’ve Got Words, we will bring to you education and answers to questions like what is Gluten, GMO’s, and what all the fuss is around Organic, Cage Free, Vegan, Paleo and all the other buzz words that you may hear but not fully understand what they mean. Trust me you need to understand them and how they affect your body and mind and pretty much everything that affects your day to day including sleep, stress, attitude, coping etc.
We will also provide a variety of helpful health tips from grocery lists, meal plans and recipes, and some of my favorite daily health habits. We will also have guest blog posts from some of the smartest health experts I know sharing their experiences and expertise to help us all be healthier!
